Ruth Daynes, our Learning and Development Co-ordinator was featured in a case study in the Summer Issue of the Skills for Care Bulletin, sharing her story of working as an ambassador.
Ruth, who is a great example of how ambassadors can support the recruitment and retention of those in the care sector said:
“I would recommend a career in care to so many people. It’s an excellent profession and provides fabulous career opportunities. It isn’t just something you do if you aren’t good at something else, as it’s important you have the right motivations and qualities to work in care.
“A career in this sector is suitable for people who want to work in a constantly changing environment, who want to support others and have a positive impact on their lives.”
