Community benefit fund

The Leading Lives Community Benefit Fund awards grants to not for profit organsiations and community groups who share our vision to support vulnerable people to live the life they choose and to progress in life. 


Here are the projects supported through the fund in 2016:

Ace Anglia Video project to support people with LD to share their stories
Homestart - South Suffolk & District  Volunteer support for parents with learning disabilities
Ipswich Mencap Grant to support the purchase of disco equipment for fundraising discos and member social events
Suffolk Mind Funding to for dementia counselling for older people in rural areas across Suffolk
WASH Sailability Grant towards the cost of a specially adapted boat for people with disabilities and learning disabilities to learn to sail
Lofty Heights Grant towards the cost of de-cluttering services for people with learning disabilities and family carers
Suffolk Young People's Health Project Funding for specialist health advice for young people with learning disabilities or autism/ADHD
Poppies Care Farm Grant towards the cost of converting a tack room into toilet and rest area for Care Farmers working in the market garden areas
Suffolk Family Carers Contribution to the on-going costs of providing therapy based support for family carers in Suffolk         
Pathways Care Farm Grant towards the renovation of derelict farm buildings into facilities for Care farmers

Applications for the 2016 round of funding have now closed.  We will invite applications for the 2017 fund in the Spring.
