We are recruiting for Support Workers to work as part of our Independence Plus team providing 1:1 support to individuals in their own home and out in the community.
You will be responsible for supporting a range of customers to live independently, to complete normal day to day tasks and activities. This could include, cooking cleaning, shopping, attending, appointments or to take part in a range of leisure activities. You may also be required to complete personal care and administer medication.
The role also involves supporting family carers with a respite, liaising with partner organisations, planning and organising activities, and updating support plans and records.
Experience is desirable but not required as full training and support is provided to all our staff. This role will involve shift work tailored around the individual’s needs and wishes, therefore you must be flexible. Due to the nature of the work, you will be a confident lone worker, and hold a current driving licence with access to your own car.
