Phoebe Parnell - North East Suffolk Independence Plus Service and Short Break Unit

Winner: Phoebe Parnell – North East Suffolk Independence Plus Service and Short Break Unit

Phoebe joined us as a casual support worker in 2018 when she was just 17 years old. She settled in straight away and immediately began to make a difference. Phoebe is flexible, hardworking and demonstrates compassion and feeling towards our customers, showing dedication and sensitivity that is an inspiration to everyone – a natural carer! Phoebe worked particularly well with an elderly mother and her disabled daughter, developing a positive relationship and even cancelling her leave when the family required urgent support when the mother was admitted to hospital. Phoebe is a credit to Leading Lives and the caring profession.
